School Uniforms

BOYS’ SUMMER: 
short-sleeved summer-weight grey shirt, grey summer shorts, ankle light   weight grey socks, regulation St Thomas’ bottle-green polar fleece vest or jacket. Bottle-green Vnecked pullover (optional), leather-type black or brown shoes or flat soled black or brown sandals with no socks, may be worn.

BOY’S WINTER:
long-sleeved winter weight grey shirt, grey winter-weight shorts, ¾ plain woolen grey socks, regulation St Thomas’ bottle-green polar fleece vest or jacket, bottle-green Vnecked pullover (optional), leather-type black or brown shoes.

GIRLS’ SUMMER:
Uniform pinafore, short-sleeved white blouse, white ankle socks, regulation bottle-green polar fleece vest or jacket, bottle-green V-necked pullover (optional),  
leather type black or brown shoes, plain black, bottle-green, brown or white hair
accessories only. Flat soled black or brown sandals with no socks may be worn.
Year 7 & 8 to have the option of wearing uniform knee length skirt.

GIRL’S WINTER:
uniform pinafore, long-sleeved white blouse, ¾ bottle-green socks or bottle-
green tights, regulation St Thomas’ bottle-green polar fleece vest or jacket, bottle-green Vnecked pullover (optional), leather-type black or brown shoes, plain black, bottle-green, brown or white hair accessories only.

Year 7 & 8 to have the option of wearing uniform knee length skirt.

Uniform black only shorts are compulsory for sport for both boys and girls; and for
leisure/play for the girls.

A wrist watch may be worn. One small stud/keeper (silver, green or gold) per ear
may be worn in pierced ears. Pupils may wear a cross or taonga. No other
jewellery is permitted. Long hair must be tied back.

V neck polyprops can be worn under shirts. Coloured T shirts are not to be worn under shirts.

Sun hats
During term 1 and 4 all children are required to wear sunhats for outdoor activities at
intervals, lunchtimes and class outdoor activities. School sunhats are allocated to each student at the beginning of the year.
